The Present system of education suffers from multiple lags. Positive inputs are required to remove the lag syndrome. The student should be able to integrate information with his being. Education - an enterprise of man making - must expedite the process of integration with the society, culture and nation. The student should imbibe healthy world-view along with intensive knowledge of sacred Indian Traditions such as Yoga, Pranayama, Ayurveda and Vedanta. The education should liberate him या विद्या या विमुच्यते and he should not be a burden, economically or otherwise, on the society. It should aim at making him a productive member of society.
Students should be able to express themselves correctly in English, Hindi and Sanskrit. Emphasis on teaching of Mathematics and Science is also essential. The broader framework of education should stretch from Sanskara, Sanskrit and Sanskriti to the frontiers of Science and Technology.
